Harvest Fair 2023

Transition Woodbridge and Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music joined forces to present Harvest Fair, a celebration of local food producers and an uplifting welcome to all things autumn. The event took place by the River Deben, next to the town’s iconic Tide Mill, Museum and Longshed, and featured a full day of activities, local food producers, live music, Anchors Aweigh! Arts trail and pop-up art studio and a market-place of local ecological and environmental stalls. A taste-sensational, as well as educational day out for people of all ages and backgrounds.

About the Anchors Aweigh! pop-up art studio: This was a programme of free-to-attend, family-friendly drop-in art sessions for all ages and experience. The sessions included: clay modelling, Saori loom weaving, Dry point etching and Screen printing and badge making. The unique one day Anchors Aweigh! Arts trail also took visitors around the historic riverside venues and views with a trail activity sheet and an anagram to unscramble.
